Greetings,

Welcome to my cone of silence! This is the place where I have a break from the fast paced daily life and enjoy spending time with my own thoughts. Before we get going, let me introduce myself.

I am always interested in exploring new fields of science and engineering and enthusiastically continue to watch the technology revolution of our age. As for me, I have been in the the transportation compartment of it through majority of my academic and professional career, mainly, aircraft and automotive. I made scientific contributions in human factors in hearing, aircraft acoustics, and test methods. I explored noise from ducted and unducted fans, designed thermal and acoustic insulation systems for business and VIP aircraft cabin, developed models and methodologies to predict aircraft cabin sound quality, and managed noise and vibration control material development. Besides science and engineering, I authored start-up business plans and attended entrepreneurship business plan competitions.

When I am not working, my time is mostly devoted to my family. My biggest joy in life is watching my two handful boys, Efe and Ata, grow up and rediscovering the world together.
